Miguel Herrera is an associate of the firm’s Litigation Group and Labor & Employment Group. Miguel represents clients on a variety of matters, including commercial litigation, antitrust, trade secret, and labor & employment.
Miguel has over nine years of experience representing clients in the Philippines and in the South East Asian region. Prior to joining the firm, Miguel represented individuals and corporations across various industries in real estate, retail, education, construction, manufacturing, and manpower to name a few, and has both defended and prosecuted defendants in criminal cases. He has achieved favorable settlements and closures on various cases and business transactions. Miguel was also Chief Legal Counsel for the Royal Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Manila. He is a trained arbitrator with the Philippine Dispute Resolution Center and has taught as an Adjunct Professor at San Beda College of Law before pursuing a master’s of law degree at Duke University in Durham, North Carolina where his studies focused mostly on science and technology-related fields.
