Laura is a real estate attorney and trusted business advisor with 18 years of broad range experience as an outsourced and in-house counsel. Laura’s real estate practice includes all aspects of the real estate industry, including acquisitions, dispositions, formation of ownership entities, joint ventures, leasing, and financing. Laura’s experience includes transactions involving retail, multi-family, restaurants, hotels and hospitality, construction, industrial, and office, as well as mobile homes and self-storage facilities.
Laura has represented developers, entrepreneurs, and family office clients throughout the real estate life cycle including the drafting of purchase, development, and construction agreements for retail shopping centers, distribution centers, warehouse facilities, and office projects, as well as due diligence and title review. Laura also handles real estate loan workouts and has represented clients in restructuring loans with commercial lenders, including modifications and adjustments of principal balances.
Laura’s corporate experience includes ongoing corporate governance and compliance, negotiation and drafting of purchase and sale documents for corporate acquisitions/dispositions (including escrow management and oversight and due diligence), board reporting, and preparation of organizational documents such as Bylaws and Operating Agreements, corporate minutes, and resolutions.
Laura is married, has a 16-year-old daughter, and an 11-year-old French bulldog. Laura is ambidextrous and is fluent in Russian. On her spare time, Laura enjoys hiking, reading, and traveling and is determined to improve her golfing game.
