Experience:

Jack McLean specializes in all aspects of antitrust matters including civil litigation and criminal investigations and trials. He has extensive experience with issues relating to marketing & distribution, mergers & acquisitions, and corporate compliance. Mr. McLean’s client list includes hi-tech companies, natural resource companies and their down-stream converting operations, manufacturers of heavy construction equipment, consumer, pharmaceutical and various other products, and providers of transportation, insurance, banking, health care, and other services. His grand jury work has involved the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, securities law, and white collar criminal investigations

Recently notable: Mr. McLean was co-counsel for the defense of Gary Swanson, Sr. Vice President for Sales of Hynix America, who was charged with price-fixing of DRAM memory chips in United States v. Gary Swanson. After a four-week jury trial, the jury hung at 10 to 2 in favor of Mr. Swanson. The DOJ decided that it would not re-try Swanson. Jack was also part of the BZTM trial team that successfully defended its client against federal and state antitrust and commercial bribery claims in a 7.5 week jury trial in Federal Court.
