Historic alliance to locate looted Holocaust art is an exercise in ‘reconciliation’

San Francisco – As the Nazis rose to power, a Jewish newspaper publisher named Rudolf Mosse became a vocal critic of fascism. Forced to flee soon after Hitler became chancellor in 1933, Mosse left behind a massive, priceless art collection.
